THOTCON (pronounced \ˈthȯt\ and taken from THree - One - Two) is a sma
ll venue hacking conference based in Chicago IL, USA. This is a non-profit, non-
commercial event looking to provide the best conference possible on a very limit
ed budget. 

THOTCON 0xD will be have 3 tracks over two days and over 1800 attendees. It will
 be held on a Friday and Saturday in May 2025. The party will be held at a TBA l
 ocation a few hours after the close of the first day.

The conference is 100% funded by ticket sales, but the after party and student t
ickets are not.
 
This is where we need your support. In order to have a great party for our atten
dees, offer student tickets below cost, and keep our ticket prices reasonable, w
e need to partner with great companies to make it happen.

In the past several companies have also donated items for speaker gifts and cont
est prizes as well. 

Also, we have had many requests to provide attendee lists to sponsors. Each year
 we are asking attendees to opt into this during the registration process.

help justify the investment in THOTCON:

- THOTCON is the ONLY hacking conference in the City of Chicago
- It is a 2-day event with 3 tracks and hacker villages
- We started as 125 person event 13 years ago and will have 1800+ this year
- All tickets are sold in advance & we do not publicly disclose the location
- 75% of the attendees are from the Chicago area
- Attendee industry representation includes Financial Services, Technology, Manu
facturing,  Hospitality, Energy, and others. 
- Attendee roles range from CISO/CIO/CTO to Security Engineer to Application Dev
eloper to Security Consultant
- Recruiting for local talent is also a possibility as recent graduates or stude
nts also attend
- All money raised for the after party goes towards the event
